I couldn't wait to check out my friend's new home that they just had decorated! I was so excited that she invited me over for my opinion on her decorating. The colors and, decor were just adorable. But, what I really wanted to see was the baby's room. All I have to say, she did a wonderful job carefully choosing everything from the baby bedding, baby furniture to the patchwork blanket in the crib. The throw rugs, dresser and, crib all matched in blues and greens. The baby clothes were all neatly hung in the closet and, there was a basket full of stuffed toys in the corner. I know that she has been working on this room a long time and seeing it finished it is definitely my favorite part of the house. Well, besides her the kitchen with the huge island in the middle!
I woke up this morning and, it was so cold! We have a wood stove and, this keeps our family pretty warm but, it goes out over the course of the night. I need to get out in the garage today and pull out all the wool blankets, and the little ones warm crib bedding now. I will have to layer our beds with some cozy blankets to stay warm throughout the night now. Lets just say I am not too happy with winter arriving so early. I'm a warm blooded kinda gal and, wish I lived in California right about now. It's true Washington state is rainy, cold and, green. Maybe someday we can get up out of here and, move to wear the sun shines 300 days out of the year! There has to be a rainbow at the end of the day right?
When ever I thought of designing a space for my little girl, I always dreamed of beautiful shades of pink and white. Don't all little girls deserve the color pink? Thats my favorite color and, when I came across this picture of this baby's room I fell in love. Its just perfect! If you were to design a dream nursery what colors, theme, type of baby furniture and, accessories would you choose? Would you pick pink for a girl? What color for a boy?
What's more fun than getting to pick out new decor and baby bedding for the kid's room! I helped one of my best friends go shopping for some new decor for the nursery. She wanted to brighten it up a bit with some fun colors and designs! We found this super cute set for the baby's crib, and, extra fabric to make some fun pillows for the chair in the room! I love to sew so, I offered to do this for her! I love decorating! I hope she will let me help her again sometime!
What's more fun than shopping for Babies! This is one of my favorite things to do! After all, my two have grown up and, now I can spoil my friend's kids! I'm always on the look out what new accessory has come out that I wish I had for mine when they were babies! How come it took them so long to think of the moses baskets? These are so great! Portable, cozy and, keeps baby safe while he or she naps. Best thing is that, they go everywhere! I bought one for my girlfriend to keep at our house when I babysit for her! This way the baby can nap right beside us while we visit! This would have to be one of my favorite little things for babies by far!

Babies always seem to find their way to us during spring months don't they? I have friends who are expecting and have been doing quite a bit of shopping for them lately.
