I love shopping for the kids during the holidays! I only wish they had these kind of kids toys when I was growing up. My girls love the Only Heart Club dolls and plush pets. They are too cute! What's on my list? Well, my youngest wants Starlight - the White Arabia. She's into horses and, I can see why she wants it. I loved horses as well growing up and I would of loved to have it too! I always love playing games at any party I go to! These days, there are so many different kinds to choose from. My sister has a baby shower for a girlfriend over the weekend and to my surprise I had so much fun playing the baby shower games more than watching her open all her gifts! I was especially good at the baby trivia game. It's a card game that consists of fun questions to see how baby savvy you are. Being a seasoned pro mama I won this game easily! Ha! And, her party gifts were awesome! What kind of games or ideas would you use at a baby shower? Being the mom of two small kids, it seems more than once a month I am taking them to see the doctor. Whether is be a cold, an injury or for shots there is always a day I commit to spending the day in the waiting room. Why is it you hurry up to make the appointment and you end up sitting and waiting around for a half an hour or more to actually get to be seen?
When the time you are seen to your exam room with kids in tow, you anxiously await the doctor to magically appear like an angel in one her designer women's lab coats in less than five minutes!
But, you sit and wait, read all the magazines they have in the room and maybe change a diaper or two. I'm really thinking about raising this issue of the hurry up and wait game that is played every time I have an appointment. How many of you have this dilemma? Ah the many little games that we play as mothers!

Do you love Spring time as much as I do? One of my favorite times to shop for my little girls is when all the new baby dresses come out. The colors, the styles and especially baby clothes and dresses in pink with flowers! This is the time when I go through the girl's closet and start pulling out all the fun clothes for fun in the sun!

I have always had a little bit of a obsession with cool baby clothes. So, when I came across this cool Zebra print outfit for my little girl I had to get it! She loves anything that is different and stands out! Wouldn't this be great with a jean jacket and knee high boots? So, chic don't you think? I think my little girl loves clothes just as much as I do! Yes, my little mini me! Why can't they make grown up sizes like these? Ha! I couldn't wait to check out my friend's new home that they just had decorated! I was so excited that she invited me over for my opinion on her decorating. The colors and, decor were just adorable. But, what I really wanted to see was the baby's room. All I have to say, she did a wonderful job carefully choosing everything from the baby bedding, baby furniture to the patchwork blanket in the crib. The throw rugs, dresser and, crib all matched in blues and greens. The baby clothes were all  neatly hung in the closet and, there was a basket full of stuffed toys in the corner. I know that she has been working on this room a long time and  seeing it finished it is definitely my favorite part of the house. Well, besides her the kitchen with the huge island in the middle!
