Comparing Jewelry Metals
If you had to choose between white gold, platinum or titanium, what metal would you choose? After doing my research, I have come to the conclusion, that titanium out weighs a lot of these other precious metals! Sure, they all have weaknesses and flaws, but mens wedding bands would have to be my pick out of the bunch. White gold isn't naturally made white. Jewelers manipulate the color and, eventually the true gold color will show through. It is soft, so it more prone to bend, scratch and, eventually wear away. It is very, very expensive these days. Platinum is good if you are looking for a white colored metal, but, it is a very rare metal, making it quite expensive. It is also, very soft, making it an easy target for marring as well. Titanium is grey naturally, but, is polished to a very shiny surface that lasts. It is also, very strong. It can be banged away with a tool and, wont dent. You can never wear a titanium ring out. It can easily be polished to look like new. it's affordable, lightweight and hypoallergenic! Titanium rings are clearly a great choice in ring metals! You can take it from me, I owned quite a few titanium rings, and, will continue to purchase these over all other choices of metals available!
